Hello! I’m Kalani.

I am an artist, graphic designer, leatherworker, inventor/maker, and all around creative problem solver. I love color and sparkles. My bright and quirky sense of style has always made me feel like Unicorns are my spirit animal. I fell in love with the idea of unicorns way before they were trendy. haha.

I am a compulsive learner, who’s always looking for new information and skills to add to my creative arsenal. Because of my love of learning (and my ADHD brain), I’m awesome at thinking outside of the box and seeing problems from a unique perspective. I see inspiration everywhere I look and in everything I learn, which is where my business name, Loud Iris originated. The idea of sharing my colorful view with the world.

My mission is to share my ideas and creations with the world, to help make life for my customers a little more fun & functional through purposeful design. I believe design means so much more than just making pretty things. It’s about making the best possible version of something in all aspects. So I strive to create quality handmade products and custom designs that serve an actual purpose. Practical whimsy is how I like to describe my design style.
